Many of us got fascinated by the silver mercury drops that can roll without lose their
consistency, maybe once we accidentally broke the thermometer. The characteristic of
being halfway between solid and liquid state it's what is more attractive about
mercury: Artemide's Mercury, an eye-catching ceiling or suspended light, recreates
this effect with sublime precision. A real mercury rain, “freezed” over our heads,
tangible but surprisingly evanescent; this is possible thanks to the peculiar structure,
composed by a die-cast aluminium reflector to which are fixed die-cast aluminium
lighting units and reflective units made of injection-moulded thermoplastic material
with metallic finish. In addition, you can customize its modular shape and Artemide
supplies special projects on request. The diameter of the circular shaped reflector is
110 cm, the vertical bulk of the lamp is 60 cm
