A modern “dress” to fit a deceiving structure: seen from a distance, in fact, this very elegant chandelier, part of Flos' consumer products range, could mislead and make
think of a classic structure in which every arm has a candle. But 2097, this is the name, is totally modern although the effect that the designer Gino Sarfatti wanted to
reproduce when he designed the chandelier back in 1958 is that of “back to the past”. Steel and brass, chromed or gold-plated, form a structure characterized by a central
wide-diameter stem from which start thin, curved arms; at the end of every arm there's a light bulb, they're 30 all together and they produce a pleasant diffused light. The dimensional and chromatic contrast between the stem and the arms makes 2097
very peculiar. The lamp comes in two dimensions: 88 and 100 cm of diameter per 72 and 88 of height.
