An unique and particular table light, able to draw the attention wherever you place it, be it an elegant desk or a very modern table. Such lamp could only rise from
Philippe Starck's mind: it's shiny and polished, thanks to the materials and processing chosen, it's called Arà and it's produced by Flos. It's the die-cast head of zamak metalalloy
that attracts the attention, cone-shaped and with a sharp end; at the opposite end a small pressed glass diffuser “hides” the halogen bulb. The head is fixed on top of a tapered, tubular steel pole, polished and chrome-plated, and underneath it all there's a base made of pressed, polished and chromed-plated steel. Arà furthermore can boast contained measures (56,5 cm of height) and a switching on that banishes the “old”
buttons: to turn Arà on you have to move its head up and down.
