Seven and a half kilos of white Carrara marble: you got it right, Flos' Biagio is a lamp that doesn't go unnoticed. A precious and elegant object, as for lines, material, design, functionality. Carved from a single block and shaped into those soft and sinuous lines which characterize it, Biagio was designed by Tobia Scarpa, that created a really unconventional design that seems to have an anthropomorphic shape. And, therefore, every Biagio exemplar is really unique, because the “designs” and textures of white marble are different for every exemplar. The line between lamp and design object is very thin in Biagio's case; the preciousness of its design stands out in daylight and it is enhanced by turning on the light.
