Chasen is a brilliant suspended lamp, produced by Flos and designed by Patricia Urquiola in 2007. Strong personality and elegance, functionality and design that go well together: the user can decide to open or not the lamp's body and thus vary both the lamp's appearance and light beam. This is possible thanks to a mechanical movement integrated in the structure, made by a chemically photo-etched stainless steel body and a borosilicate diffuser. Almost a delicate flower bud in appearance, but a modern piece of furniture in essence. This original structure is fixed to a die-cast aluminium base, which is fixed to a polyamide ceiling rose. Chasen is produced by Flos in four versions: white, black, equipped with dimmer and in table version (Chasen T).
