At a first look it seems to be an elegant cake stand, those you see in the refined urban coffee-shops' windows, but it is a suspended lamp produced by Flos, one of the many brilliant creations of Philippe Starck. So brilliant that for a moment we can't understand what it really is, which is its primary function. Cicatrices De Luxe is a lamp with a very special design that makes the light shine through blown and handcut
leaded crystal vases, each one with a peculiar shape, placed on the lamp's stands.You can choose between three different versions of the lamp, with one, two or three stands and three, five or eight vases. Refined and original is also the way in which the light spreads: the central stem that holds the stands (made of matt nickel plated steel)is equipped with a silk-screened silver circuit (protected by a ceramic varnish
coating) that conducts the 12 Volts current to the vases, that light up and elegantly shine thanks to the crystal.
