A project that dates back to 1972 but that still doesn't make a poor impression side by side with the most modern creations. Versatile and definitely original, Flos' Noce is
an Achille Castiglioni's idea and conquers by virtue of its being completely “over the top”. A clear pressed glass rounded shell hides two swiveling light sources; the reference to the nut (“Noce” means nut in italian) is evident at a first glance and supported by the carved diffuser's surface, that reminds the typical nutshell's pattern. The outer body that frames the diffuser is made of painted aluminium and is available
in anthracite or white. Noce can be placed where is most needed: on a table/desk or on the floor, wherever a handy light source is needed but also wherever you need to
give a “special touch” in terms of style. Noce is available also in the wall/ceiling version.
