Transparent and “sharp” as the ice-cubes to which the name refers. Flos' Ontherocks is a wall lamp available in two different versions, a creation by Antonio Citterio and Toan Nguyen. Squared lines, transparent materials, electrical devices contained in the structure and visible from outside: Ontherocks is definitely fit for modern rooms, both private and public, characterized by a contemporary look. The lamp structure is made by a parallelepiped-shaped transparent molded glass body that contains a filter made of injection-molded transparent polymethylmetacrylate with prismatic finish, a detail that adds further personality and originality to the lamp; wall attachment (made in pressure die-cast aluminium alloy) contains also electrical devices. Ontherocks is available also in the HL version: body is the same, inner diffuser is moulded transparent glass metalized on the inside.
