When simplicity means elegance: here's Quarto, refined wall lamp designed by Tobia Scarpa for Flos. A design that dates back to the Seventies but that could have been conceived yesterday, so fashionable it is in its discrete simplicity. Smooth, curved and “soft” surfaces go arm in arm with sharp and defined outlines. Quarto is made up of a body lamp/diffuser made of trimmed, curved metal, powder coated in glossy white (white and nickel are the colors available). Wall mount and luminaire support, both made in die-cast aluminium alloy, leave small gaps between them and the diffuser so
that light can spread all around Quarto's structure. The “whiteness” effect is remarkable if you choose the white finish. Thanks to its simple and discrete appearance, Quarto can be used in multiple exemplars, for example along the walls of a corridor or a passing-by area.
