It's a real family the one that Philippe Starck designed for Flos. Romeo it's a range that includes floor, table, wall and suspension lamps all available with different colors and diffusers. Starck's creativity this time had fun with materials and colors rather than with lines and shapes: Romeo, in fact, winks its eye at classic style thanks to a simple and elegant truncated cone diffuser and to a cylindric thin stem. One can have fun with the diffusers, choosing between different materials and appearances. The most “standard” versions is Soft, with a plissé cloth shade; the internal diffuser is made of acid-etched pressed borosilicate glass, and it's the same for all versions. Romeo Moon is equipped with a beautiful pressed clear glass shade, while Romeo Louis bets on a blown crystal outer diffuser, hand ground and acid polished. In the floor version, Romeo is available also with an aluminium table placed halfway through the stem (Romeo F/T). Finally, the smallest one is Romeo Babe, available in wall and suspended version; glass, polycarbonate or plissé cloth diffusers.
