Precious and refined like porcelain, but luckily not as fragile. Skygarden by Flos is a suspended lamp dedicated to the ones who have discriminating tastes, the ones looking for an object able to leave them open-mouthed every time they take a look at it. Its main item it's the inner surface of the big “cupola” that contains also the diffuser. The cupola is made in die-cast plaster, the inner surface, painted white, is
richly decorated with floral patterns that remind chinawares that adorn the most refined houses. Outside there's room for modern taste, with an outer finish available in rust, glossy black, glossy white or matte gold. Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde: modern outside, classic inside. Inside the structure is completed by a flashed and blown opal-glass diffuser that guarantees a soft diffused/direct light, the ideal choice
to enhance the rich patterns on the inner surface of the cupola. The measures of the lamp are remarkable: the diameter of the cupola is of 90 cm. Skygarden is available also in the recessed version.
