Light in all its glory: seems like Flos' Stylos wants to be in its service, thanks to a design that first of all managed to offer a very generous surface for lighting. The
design is a work by Achille Castiglioni and it's dated 1984 but it's still actual, a timeless classic that doesn't fear the passing of the years. The name Stylos is indicative of the form and content of this floor lamp: a big cylindric body, tall and thin, slender and elegant. Stylos' body, made of opaline polymetylmethacrylate, offers itself completely to light: it has two light sources, one at the upper end and one at the lower end. And so Stylos lights up as a bizarre candle with just a touch of your hand, bright and pure thanks to the total-white look. The small and discrete base breaks the
whiteness of the lamp by means of silver powder-coated steel, giving a touch of refined elegance to the whole. Stylos' light sources can be activated independently, by means of a double switch mounted on the feeding cable; the lamp is also available
with dimmer.
