So precious it has to be put in a case. The idea behind Teca, table lamp produced by Flos, is brilliant: a refined shade contained in a small transparent case, to suggest the
idea of luxury and preciousness. This lamp designed in 2009 by Ron Gilad seems to make fun of itself: ironic and “conceptual”, thanks to these qualities can be placed
also in very modern rooms, where it gives life to an interesting contrast. Teca – which is quite small: the side is 20cm-long – is made up of a square injection-molded ABS
on which is mounted an extra-clear methacrylate “teca” with edges cut at 45°; on the base there's a stainless steel plate with the name of the model etched by laser. The models in fact are two, characterized by two different styles for the shade: Teca Mini Renaissance Cupola and Teca Mini Victorian Grandeur. The choice is up to you.
