Modern and essential, characterized by a simple but scenic design, Avico is a
suspended lamp by Fontana Arte that proposes itself as the protagonist of the room in
which it will be placed. Avico it's a recent project (2006) by Charles Williams and it's
a “light-dome”: sparkling and shiny, compact and almost statuesque, it can count on
very generous dimensions (120 or 160 cm of diameter for the diffuser). The
constituting element of Avico is its big diffuser: it's a big polyethylene dome,
available in white or in two-tone silver/white, black/white, gold/white. The mounting
and ceiling rose are made of chrome-plated metal. Despite its essentiality Avico is
refined in details, as the power cable with colored sheath demonstrates.
