For glass lovers: Bolla by Fontana Arte is a suspended lamp that has the charm of the
handmade product, of which you appreciate the quality of materials and the
uniqueness of the processing. Designed by Harry & Camila in 2003, Bolla bets on
essentiality and conquers with its simplicity: the name wasn't chosen by chance sicne
the lamp is just what it seems, a delicate glass bubble (“bolla” means bubble in
Italian). It's the diffuser that makes up the lamp: made of blown glass, is available in
two sizes – with slightly different shapes – and in two colors, opal white and a very
beautiful transparent with iris effect. Inside the bubble-diffuser you can see the light
bulb, mounted on a very simple lamp-holder; the only other detail is the blue feeding
cable. Thanks to its raw style Bolla fits easily different rooms and placements.
