With Delight Ingo Maurer goes beyond the limits of what is commonly considered to be a “lamp”, an object functional for illumination, denoted by precise technical and aesthetical features. So, forget all you know about lamps and be open-minded when contemplating this Delight, a wall light in theory but more properly a design creation. Delight, in fact, is a one-piece of heat-resistant glass fabric that you can hang to the wall as you like and “mold” it the way you want. The fabric does the rest of the job, wrapping around the light bulb and shaping the light thanks to its folds and movements. The fabric is capable of withstanding continuous use at temperatures of up to 180°, so it can be laid directly on the light source.
