curious object: this is what may seem Lucetto, a suspended lamp by Ingo Maurer
designed in 1995 by Ingo Maurer and Bernhard Dessecker. An elaborate creation,
hard to compare to something already seen or to enclose into rules of style and type.
Lucetto is characterized by a modern and refined appearance: the merit goes most of
all to the beautiful clear glass lamp-holder, under which there's a heat-resistant shade
that, besides executing its main function (screening the light source), adds a touch of
particular style to the whole. Lucetto's shade is made up by a plastic “skirt”, very
peculiar, made up by three different pieces linked together and partially overlapping.
Lucetto is also equipped with pulley and ring to freely adjust its height. Lucetto is
available in two lengths: standard, 125 cm, and “special”, 400 cm.
