from one end of the room to another. aTooL by Ingo Maurer is a really particular
suspended lamp: thanks to its structure and to the particular suspension system,
aTooL can be moved around and its light beam can be oriented in every direction.
And the whole is “dressed” with a very modern look, where aluminium and stainless
steel boss the show. Let's take a closer look: aTooL is made up by a stainless steel
reflector shaped in a kind of “wedge”, above it a cylindric aluminium/plastic stem
links the reflector to the suspension wires. The suspension system is peculiar: three
wires, three suspension points that can be freely chosen, height of the lamp is
adjustable within the suspension points. Let's add that the reflector rotates through
360° and tilts through 45°: aTool is light ready to use, wherever you are.
